ICT is the abbreviation of information and communication technology.Information plays an important role in the development of modern civilization.But information itself is not enough to develop the society if it is not communicated easily from person to person and from place to place. Now a person from one end of the earth can easily communicate with another person at the other end of this planet.First,it became possible with the invention of wireless.Computer and internet are playing the role in this respect.With the invention of television,the world became quite closer to one another.People from the farthest distance became visible on the television scene as the moving picture.Cell phone is another big step towards the development of information and communication technology.This technology has brought the world in the grip of human being.Distance has been wiped out and time has been killed.
ICT is the greatest wonder of this scientific civilisation.The present world is running so fast depending on this modern technology.It makes easier everything related to education.Necessary information of admission,examination,and many others can be gotten with a twinkling of an eye through internet.Education related information and teaching methods have opened a very spacious door.Internet supplies what not!Digital classrooms and ebooks are not a dream today but an utmost reality.Teachers are using digital contents to make learners understand their lessons easily.
ICT based education is able to change the system of the educational sector beyond imagination.Now it is quite impossible to keep space with the developing world without ICT based education. This education can make a receiver skilled and up to date.So every man and woman of every civilised society need to have such an education related to information and communication technology.
